As my first semester in Ateneo de Manila University about to end,
I am becoming more confident.
I have learned to adapt to the teaching styles of my professors.
I have learned a lot from the discussions.
Ateneo is really one of the best universities here in the Philippines.

My Life's Pattern
Looking at the years after I graduated in college, I could see a clear pattern.
In 2003 to 2005 I taught in a private school.
That's two years.
From 2005 to 2007 I was a seminarian.
That's two years.
From 2007 to 2009 I taught again in the same private school.
That's two years.
From 2009 to 2011 I taught in a public school.
That's again two years.
What a pattern!
I just realized it in 2011.

Ask if you do not know
This morning I went to the division office of Pasay to pass some requirements.
Then the admin officer asked me to get my service record from a person I personally do not know.
So I waited for that person to call me.
I waited for 10 minutes.
Then 30 minutes.
Then one hour.
Still nobody was calling me.
Then I went to the desk officer to ask if the person I was looking for was absent.
I was so frustrated to know that the person I was looking for was just in front of me!
I have wasted my one hour!
But if I did not have the courage to ask, maybe I could have wasted my whole day.
Lesson learned: Ask if you do not know!
There is no harm in asking.
